I am a second-year PhD student in Information Studies at the University of Maryland's College of Information (INFO), advised by Dr. Wei Ai.

My research interests lie at computatioanl social science with a focus on education, where I develop machine learning, multimodal analysis, and natural language processing methods to understand teaching and learning. My work focuses on building computational tools to support educators, analyzing K–12 classroom interactions, and advancing educational practice through data-driven insights. At UMD, I also closely work with Jing Liu, Melanie Killen, and Ge Gao.

In the past, I received a master's degree in Data Science from New York University. I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a bachelor's degree in statistics and data science. Outside of academia, I enjoy hiking, reading, and judo.
